What we can't take
Most of this is down to what the transfer station will accept, not whether we feel like loading it. Better you know now than when the trailer's in the driveway.

Tyres, batteries and refrigerant appliances we can usually take, but they carry a disposal fee. Mention them on the call and it's in your quote rather than a surprise.

Common questions
For most jobs, no — as long as we can get to the items and we've
agreed on what's going. Plenty of people leave a garage open and
come home to it empty. For a cleanout where the line between keep
and go isn't obvious, it's worth being there for the first ten
minutes.
A full trailer is roughly a single-stall garage packed to the walls,
or one fully emptied room plus appliances. Bigger than that and we
make two trips — which we'll tell you on the phone, not halfway
through.
Yes. Nothing needs to be at the curb before we arrive — the carrying
is the job. Tight stairwells and narrow doorways are worth
mentioning on the call so we bring the right straps.
Both. Per-storm works fine if you usually handle it yourself and
just want backup for the big ones. A seasonal spot means you're on
the route automatically and you don't have to call at 5am.
Yes — rental turnovers, small commercial spaces, and lots through
the winter. If it's recurring, it's usually cheaper to set something
up than to call each time.
Anything still usable goes to donation before it goes to a landfill,
and metal and appliances get recycled. The rest is disposed of
properly through the transfer station.
